ABOUT THE Dot2Dot LADYBIRD PROJECT

• The Project took place during 2011 to 2012
• 25 Schools in the RECORD recording region were given free school lessons from Jeff Clarke, a leading environmental educator.
• Each school gathered records of the ladybirds found in their school grounds and local area.
• Each participating school contributed their records to the RECORD database
• Each participating school will be highlighted in the forthcoming Provisional Atlas of Ladybirds in Cheshire (still being compiled - Oct 2014)
• Over 5,000 local primary age children benefited from the project in 2011/12.
• The project was co-ordinated by Karen Lawson at Record.
