RECORD will work to further the appreciation, understanding and protection of the Cheshire region’s wildlife habitats, plants and animals, by collating, managing, archiving and analysing their aggregated data holdings,  and by interpreting, presenting, and providing access to them, commensurate with restrictions agreed with data suppliers and with the protection of the species and habitats involved.
