RECORD Policies:

When RECORD was set-up it was as the Pilot Local Record Centre (LRC) for England under the National Biodiversity Network (NBN).

As a pilot project it was decided that RECORD's operation should be as transparent as possible to both assist other LRCs development but mainly to allow Cheshire's recorders to see and influence the development of RECORD as their local centre.
