Potential, and actual, users of RECORD are many and varied, ranging from the general public through to naturalists and biological specialists, Local Authorities, colleges and researchers, environmental and ecological consultancies, planning departments and land developers.

Each of these different groups of users of the RECORD service require differing products. However, within the standardised services and products provided by RECORD, and operating as a charity and non-profit making organisation, we attempt to cover the following areas for all our users:
