YOUNG ROOTS - A Biodiversity Conference for young people

The Young Roots Conference was held at Helsby High School on the 24th October 2003.

This is the Open Letter for all young people between the ages of 13 and 19 about the conference:

Dear Students

Do you enjoy the outdoors and want to help secure the future of our wildlife? Whatever your skills and interests, now is your chance to get involved and make a difference to the area where you live. Helsby High School is hosting the first ever Biodiversity conference for young people (13 - 20) in Cheshire. Come and find out on the 24th October about how you can help protect Cheshire's endangered species. Experience is not essential but enthusiasm is.

Not only will you be helping Cheshire's wildlife but you will be able to help yourself by including this in your record of achievement or personal statement. We are what our environment makes us.

BE A PART OF IT !!

We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
From the students of Helsby High School.
