WELCOME TO CHESHIRE BIODIVERSITY
|
HOME | INTRODUCTION | SPECIES | HABITATS | PARTNERS | WHAT'S NEW | WHAT'S ON | OTHER INFO |
For ease of gathering historical data for the biodiversity audit we have used the OLD VICE COUNTY OF CHESHIRE, the boundaries of which are still broadly used by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust as their administrative territory and for biological recording purposes by rECOrd. This area is referred to as the Cheshire "region".
This area includes the local authority boundaries of:
Cheshire County Council ("New Cheshire") |
|
And the offshore area of Liverpool Bay to the 12 mile limit |
In the Cheshire region we work closely with other LBAP partnerships in the North West and in North Wales.
